8. Steamed Chicken

Ingredients: Salted Herbal Chicken

  • Chicken 1kg
  • Salt 1.5 tbsp
  • Angelica slices 2 pieces (cut in half)
  • Cooking wine 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion 1 stalk (tied into a knot)

Steps:

  1. Clean the chicken, massage it with salt, then stuff it with angelica slices, cooking wine, and spring onion. Marinate for at least 1 hour or longer.
  2. Drain excess liquid, place the chicken in the i8 Steam Oven, and select “Steamed Chicken” mode.
  3. Once done, let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Collect the chicken juices and drizzle a few tablespoons over the chicken. Garnish with coriander if desired.

Tips:

The steaming time needs to be adjusted according to the size of the chicken


材料:咸香鸡

  • 鸡 1 公斤
  • 盐 1.5 汤匙
  • 当归 2 片(切半)
  • 料酒 1 汤匙
  • 葱 1 棵(绑结)

步骤:
1)洗净鸡后,用盐按摩,再将 当归、料酒、葱段 塞入鸡内,腌制 至少 1 小时 或更久。
2)倒掉鸡水,将鸡放入 i8 蒸烤箱,选择 “Steamed Chicken” 模式。
3)蒸好后 再闷 10 分钟,取出备用。可倒出鸡汁,淋几汤匙在鸡肉上,撒些香菜装饰。

小贴士:

蒸的时间需要根据鸡的大小做调整
